We ensure that the underpriviledged stand on their own and be self-reliant. Here we create platforms and different activities in detecting talents, nurturing these talents and giving them more exposure. At this stage, we work with schools, street children, orphanages and rehabilitation centers. Talent Building Programs (TBP) are mostly carried out in the areas of singing, arts/crafts, painting, drawing, acting, dancing, public speaking, sports, arts and scientific innovations just to mention a few. Here KBF moves along with a team of experts in the different activities or disciplines.
One of our outstanding Talent Building Programs (TBP) took place at the Zion Rehabilitation Center in Biyemassi Yaounde. It was a month long talent building activity which took place from the 1st of February to 28th of February 2022. KBF went along with a team of experts ranging from choreography, acting, model, singers and arts and crafts technicians to help work with these people and detect the talents in their various areas where they excelled. This particular program involved 50 IDPs and 14 orphans who were skillful in the following areas
Those who were selected in acting and modeling were to be recommended to movie and modeling companies, while those for dancing were also to be recommended to artists and entertainers that needed choreographers and those for drawing their works to be given maximum visibility
Finally those who excelled in singing have been recorded at Pathfinders Entertainment Studio. They are a group of 09 called THE ZIONS with 04 lead singers and 5 dancers. This has been an amazing project as the orphans have been making good sums of money through their performances in churches and other events. Through this, they have been able to raise funds for their school fee, some of their school needs and the wellbeing of the general orphanage.
-The Hitz Empire is a group of 03 young singers who use music to sustain their lives. They have as well benefitted from TBP of the Kitchen Bouy Foundation.
-Treat Ekowoh is another young artist specialized in Afro Njang Rap, and has been able to benefit from TBP.
-Street Guy an Afro pop artist, is drinking from the spring of our Talent Building Program TBP. His talent in music is contributing to sustain his life.
